NOTE : |
Prof.
Jan-Eric Sundgren is the President of Chalmers University
of Technology. He has published more than 300 scientific
papers in international journals and has been ranked by
the Research Department of the “Institute for Scientific
Information” (ISI), as belonging to the ‘1000
Most Cited Physicists’. His research has focussed
on understanding relationships between process parameters,
structure and properties of thin films grown from the
vapour phase. Particular films grown by sputtering and
evaporation methods have been studied. Both pure metal
and semiconductor films and compound films, such as nitrides
and carbides have been investigated.
