Sir
Martin Laing, Chairman of John Laing plc, is a Fellow
of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Institution
of Civil Engineers and Institution of Highways & Transportation.
He has extensive experience in construction, property
development and marketing. Sir Martin is a former Chairman
of the British Overseas Trade Board and Vice-Chairman
of the British Trade International (1995-99). He is a
former President of the Construction Confederation (1997-2000)
and former Chairman of the Construction Industry Employers
Council. He is a member of the World Business Council
for Sustainable Development and of the Council, World
Economic Forum.
John Laing plc is an innovative company that embraces
